Client-side dashboards
Error monitoring
Error monitoring shows the errors in your client-side tag management container, so you can fix them before they affect your data and marketing performance. Filter by tag, event, container, or domain to see quickly where issues occur and how they affect data quality.
Tip: For broken tags, the Tag Debug Assistant shows a severity level, the plausible root cause, the possible business impact, and potential fixes. See Tag Debug Assistant.
Tag volume
Tag volume monitors tag inactivity and alerts you to sudden drops in data collection. Using your rules and real-time data, it helps you spot and fix issues quickly, so your analytics and marketing keep receiving data.
Consent monitoring
Consent monitoring tracks the consent status of all tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager. Real-time alerts and insights help you keep your data accurate and your campaigns effective.
Site performance
Site performance shows how your tags affect loading times and user experience, so you can optimize your tag implementation without compromising data collection.
Server-side dashboards
Error monitoring
Error monitoring shows errors in your server-side tags with real-time data, wherever your container is hosted. View errors per tag, event, domain, or container to fix issues quickly.
Tag volume and Cloud Run monitoring
Tag volume works the same as on the client side, but for your server-side GTM container. With Cloud Run monitoring, your server-side Cloud Run instances are also monitored in real time. That's essential, because your entire marketing and analytics setup depends on the health of this server.
Excluded tags
Important: Tags marked as excluded from alerting still appear in the dashboard, because the exclusion only applies to alerts. Use the toggle in the dashboard to show or hide excluded tags. To exclude a tag completely, change its setup in GTM.
